Messier 33 (NGC 598), the Triangulum Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Triangulum. It is a member of our Local Group, some 3 million light years away. This photograph also adds H-alpha emissions (the red areas) to highlight star formation regions in this galaxy.
